1. Acceptance of Terms
By messaging FarmVisor on WhatsApp (+254 117 447 880) or using any FarmVisor service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and FarmVisor ("we", "our", "us").
2. The Service
FarmVisor is an AI-powered agricultural advisory service delivered via WhatsApp. The service provides information and guidance on topics including crop management, disease diagnosis, livestock health, fertilizer use, pest control, and farm economics, specifically tailored to Kenyan farming conditions.
FarmVisor uses artificial intelligence technology trained on agricultural knowledge materials from KALRO (Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization) and Kenya Ministry of Agriculture publications.
3. Eligibility
To use FarmVisor, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid WhatsApp account.
- Have access to M-Pesa or SasaPay for paid plans.
- Use the service only for lawful purposes.
4. Free Trial
New users receive 3 free questions upon first contact. The free trial:
- Requires no payment or registration.
- Provides the same quality of answer as paid plans.
- Is limited to one free trial per phone number.
- Does not carry over — unused free questions expire if the account is inactive for 90 days.
5. Paid Plans & Payments
FarmVisor offers the following paid plans:
- Basic: KES 10 for 5 questions.
- Daily Pass: KES 50 for unlimited questions for 24 hours.
- Weekly: KES 300 for unlimited questions for 7 days.
- Monthly: KES 500 for unlimited questions for 30 days.
All payments are processed via M-Pesa or SasaPay. Plans activate immediately upon payment confirmation. There are no automatic renewals — you choose to purchase a new plan when your current one expires.
Prices may change at our discretion with reasonable notice to active users.
6. Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied, contact us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund — no questions asked.

To request a refund, send a WhatsApp message to +254 117 447 880 with your name, payment reference number, and the reason for your refund. Refunds are returned via the same payment method used (M-Pesa or SasaPay) within 3–5 business days.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use FarmVisor to:
- Send spam, abusive, threatening, or offensive messages.
- Attempt to manipulate, reverse-engineer, or exploit the AI system.
- Share your account or plan access with multiple people simultaneously.
- Use the service for any purpose other than genuine agricultural advice.
- Provide false information to deceive or manipulate the service.
Violations of acceptable use may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
8. Disclaimer — Not Professional Advice
FarmVisor provides general agricultural information, not professional veterinary or agronomic advice. Always consult a qualified agro-vet or agricultural extension officer for serious disease outbreaks, livestock emergencies, or decisions with significant financial impact.
The information provided by FarmVisor is for general informational and educational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy using KALRO and Ministry of Agriculture materials, we make no guarantees that:
- Every answer will be correct, complete, or applicable to your specific situation.
- Following FarmVisor's advice will result in specific crop yields or outcomes.
- FarmVisor's information is a substitute for professional veterinary, agricultural, or financial advice.
Farming involves inherent risk. FarmVisor is a decision-support tool, not a guarantee of outcomes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Kenyan law, FarmVisor shall not be liable for:
- Any crop losses, livestock deaths, or financial losses arising from the use of or reliance on FarmVisor's advice.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Service interruptions caused by WhatsApp outages, M-Pesa downtime, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Our total liability to you in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount you paid for the plan in question.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and AI-generated responses produced by FarmVisor are the intellectual property of FarmVisor. You may use the advice you receive for your personal farming activities. You may not reproduce, resell, or redistribute FarmVisor's content or system without our written permission.
11. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to FarmVisor at any time if:
- You violate these Terms of Service.
- You engage in abusive behaviour toward the service or system.
- You attempt to circumvent the payment or question-limit system.
You may stop using FarmVisor at any time. There are no cancellation fees or long-term commitments.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Your continued use of FarmVisor after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
For material changes, we will notify active users via WhatsApp.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
